Poorly packed item broke
Hello, I ordered a baking dish and it was broken en route. It wasn’t packaged well so I’m wondering what to do. I emailed the seller and am waiting to hear back.

Mentor1 year agoIt is best to open a Request for return with the reason, Item damaged/broken.
The seller will need to respond with a refund or a free return label. Sending it back broken is obviously not ideal, but it is within the rights of the seller to ask for it back.
Many would refund when shown a photo of the broken item. Since the seller is not responding, it is hard to say how they will respond.
After you open the request, the seller will have to respond or you can ask eBay to step in after a waiting period of a few days.
