Poor Quality Seller
I purchased a new starter for my riding mower in October 2024. That starter has already failed .
The seller refuses to do anything and points to a “3 month warranty” on an item that should, if of reasonable quality should last many years.
How do we get a seller like Celox banned from eBay?
You don’t want this kind of seller on a quality platform like this.

The seller you referenced sells Caltric replacement starters. If you had read the item description specifics, you'd have seen the three-month guarantee, which I expect is the seller's guarantee not the manufacturer's, but more importantly you'd have seen the starter country of origin was China. That would have been my red flag.
When you buy something made in China, you should expect a piece of junk. If that's what you want, fine. But if you want a quality starter, you should get a OEM Briggs & Stratton. Sure, it'll cost more in the short run, but now you need to get one anyway and you're out the other money you threw away on that China junk.

Manufacturers do not honor warranties for items sold by third parties.
The seller did not violate eBay policy even though they sold inferior equipment.
