Poor quality guitars from [removed by moderator]
I recently bought a "Jazzmaster' guitar from [removed by moderator] which did appear to be a Fender or Squier (although the photo did not show the logo on the headstock. This time they were saying it came from "Little Elf Music House", but I have seen them use other names as well (probably to escape penalties from eBay). I paid nearly $300 for it, but it arrived virtually unplayable. It had "a stick-on label that said "Dawnking," with the Fender name engraved underneath as well as all Fender branding on the tremolo plate, etc., and it state on the back that it was from Fullerton, California. I could have bought a low-end Fender/Squier for that price. When I did not get a response from the seller, in desperation I brought it to a luthier I know and spent more than $100 for repairs, and also spent $50 for a gig bag. I tried to sell it, and could not get local stores, including a pawn shop, to buy. I finally got someone to buy it for $100, after having spent more than $400 for this deceptively marketed instrument. The original seller first offered to give me $40 if I did not return the guitar to them, but they withdrew the offer after they learned I had sold it. This is my first experience with eBay and it will be my last if they don't take action against this seller.

Mentor6 months agoThis is what you should have done. It is too late now since you do not have the item to return to the seller.
Go to My ebay > Purchase History
Locate the item. Click on RETURN THIS ITEM because it is Not as Described. You will need to click on More to see that option. The seller will need to provide a prepaid shipping label for its return. Print out the label, affix it to the box, and have the counter clerk scan the label. When tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, the seller needs to refund you within 2 days. If no refund, go back to the case and click on Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.
