Poor business practices at eBay

eBay: it's CRAZY to discover that I updated my address when I moved, but a purchase was sent to my old address -- I updated my PROFILE, but you also, without notice, wanted an update to seller's address and buyer's address. No other internet site does this. I did not put the item into a cart, I did an instant payment, so the shipping address was never shown to me. My package was sent to old address. Buyer said sent First Class but P.O. did not forward -- turns out, ebay shipping label was USPS Ground Advantage -- no forwarding!!! You need to FIX this poor business practice. Horrible!! The change of address at eBay Profile should also cover sales and purchases automatically!!

Shipping address is confirmed for all purchases now, and a buyer has 15 minutes to change the shipping address.
USPS Ground Advantage items are forwarded for free if the recipient has an active change of address on file, (Media Mail doesn't)
ITEM LOCATION
If you are a seller, change your item location on your listings
Each individual -listing- has a "location" zip/postal code in case your items are stored in various locations. This is what displays on the listing as the actual item location.
Scroll to Preferences>item location to change it.
Or use Bulk Edit
ADDRESSES
Here is where you can check the rest of your addresses for eBay, including:
-- “Registration address” your official address,
-- "Return Address" which prints on the label, and
-- “Ship From Address” which must have the zip/postal code for the post office you use (usually the same, but not always)

SHIPPING LABELS
Lastly, you need to change the addresses used on your shipping label - you will be able to pick from the addresses you entered.
There is a 'Edit' button on the lower right-hand side of the Print Shipping Label screen.
- If you don't see something like this to the right on the shipping screen, click the "Show additional shipping options" on the upper right, then look again.
Ship from
This Town OH 4xxxx-xxxx
Return to
Other City OH 4xxxx-xxxx
Click the 'Edit' underneath the addresses.
You'll be able to select the addresses you entered in to your account.
-- Return Address is what prints on the label
-- Ship From Zip prints at the very top of the label by the postage.
On the App,
Get Shipping Label
Click the > to the right of Order Details
Edit Ship From to enter the drop off zip code.
Add a separate Return To address if that applies.
