Policy Violations - Listings Removed
Several new Live Fish listings have been flagged and removed. eBay claims "policy violation". I fought with eBay regarding this "policy change" over a month ago, and eBay assured me nothing had changed for my listed aquarium items.
Now, 5 listings have been removed. While 3 others remain active. All selling LIVE GUPPY.
There are over 2000 active listings on eBay for LIVE GUPPY. There is a category... created by eBay... for the listings.
I contacted "customer service" twice already today, regarding this. Both times, they REFUSED to address the issue, with members of the staff clearly unaware of the actual policy or having any knowledge of why my listings were removed.
Beyond the frustration of the incident itself today... it is the larger issue that bothers me most.
I consider myself to have PARTNERED with eBay for sales purposes. I make money... they make money. But I have no concept of why a company I consider my PARTNER... considers me as THEIR ENEMY.

·1 year agoeBay's Live Animals policy changed a while ago, and aquarium fish are not currently among the allowed animals in the policy. This is not likely to change back. EDIT: I do see tropical fish are allowed, which I had missed in my first reading of it, but many sellers have reported they can no longer sell most aquarium fish.
