Policy Violation (maybe incorrectly applied)
I used the "sell one like this," option for an automotive part (Dorman 42004 Spark Plug Non-Foulers 14mm with gasket), but got a message preventing listing saying the part violates the Emissions control defeat devices policy (https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/prohibited-restricted-items/emissions-control-defeat-devices-policy?id=5383).
There are 17 active listings for this item and a fairly long history of sales for hundreds of units. I proceeded to report all 17 listings for violation of the policy, however, the response was that the item is not in violation of the policy.
Seeing that response from support, I tried to list the item again, but I still get the red box saying it is an emissions control defeat device.
I am trying to find some way to contact ebay support to get this matter clarified, either remove all listings for violating the policy, or if the policy is being incorrectly applied, allowing my own listings for the automotive part in question.
The Help section offers either the Automatic Chat assistant or this Community forum, but I don’t see a way to speak with a human. Does anyone know their email address or a phone number I can call?
