Policy Notice on Sold Item
I had a pair of NIB Men’s Shoes with a damaged box. I had them listed for about 4 months. Took all the pictures, put in the listing DAMAGED because of the box and had this in the description, pics as well. Buyer makes offer, I except and send out with in 12hrs. USA sale. 2.5 weeks later I get a RED NOTICE OF VIOLATION on this sold item. I read the notice and don’t see anything where I violated any policy. Can someone help me understand…

OP8 months agoThere is no return or refund on the item.. That is what has me baffled. Im actually a seasoned seller
that has taken a break. 2011-2016 just started selling again just cant imagine there can be that many more changes. A violation on an item that has been sold with no contact what so ever from the buyer concerning the item.

Never heard of that - can you quote what the "red notice" states without disclosing any personal info?
Is the buyer asking for a return/refund?

Sorry...I still don't understand what the "policy" is that is red-noticed.
Your best option is to contact one of the eBay social media teams for an explanation - they are more experienced than the chat agents. They can review it further.
Only use Private DM/PM Messaging - do not post your account info publicly.
Give them your User ID, your real name/address/country, the email attached to your account, Item #, Case # if applicable, and explain the issue in detail.
They usually respond in a day or two.
