Policy about sharing email w/ seller after purchas

Question

Asked seller to send me a more detailed receipt for a purchase. He wanted my email address. Is it against eBay's policy to share my email w/ a seller after the sale was made?

Thanks. I suggested he find the email w/ the order info he had . Unfortunately, the email he had from ebay didn't reach me. Now I can just give him my email & hope.

Once a purchase has been made, and paid for, the buyer and seller can exchange contact information. You can tell the buyer that s/he can go to his Purchase history, locate the item, and click the Order Details and print that out for a receipt.
