Is it against eBay policy to talk to another member outside of eBay regarding technical issues of a product that has been purchased from another member? I have hit a brick wall talking to manufacturers, ISPs, and other related vendors about an item. However, I found another seller who feels he can help me troubleshoot problems I've encounter. Is consulting him over the phone for his expertise an eBay violation? Thanks.

Mentor1 year agoYou should be able to communicate with other members provided you do not violate the member contact policy or share private information about other users.

eBay may block messages that contain contact information or things that look like contact information.
