Pokemon card says delivered but it never showed.
I purchased some pokemon cards. All but two have arrived. They both were sent in plain white envelopes. I have checked with my neighbors and they haven't not received them. Since they were sent in the envelopes there isn't really any tracking information. I opened a claim for the two cards that didn't arrive, but the seller is saying I have to cancel the claim and reach out to ebay. I read on here that I have to reach out to USPS since it says it was delivered and it's out of the seller's hands, but since it's an envelope and the tracking basically does nothing, am I just out of luck at this point? Not sure what to do.

Mentor1 year ago@ilikechocolatemilk85 i'm assuming u opened an item not rec'd case? if so, do not cancel it. the seller is responsible to prove delivery and if not, they need to refund u.
did u call usps? or speak with the mail carrier?

OP1 year agoI opened a case for both cards that (separate sellers) that are missing. They said they were delivered last Monday and when I never received them I reached out to both sellers and they said since they are sent in an envelope the post office just marks them as delivered when they are supposed to arrive, but out of the 20 or so cards I received in the last few weeks, when it says delivered, the card was there that day except those two. Both sellers told me to wait and see if the cards showed. We had a lot of snow in Colorado over the course of four days this past week so I waited longer. Still no cards.
I plan on calling usps tomorrow, but I don't know if anything can be done by them since I was told the tracking number on the envelope doesn't really track it.

Mentor1 year agoThe seller needs to refund you if they were shipped with the ebay standard envelope. Those tracking numbers are "read" by the sorting machines and record "delivery" at the last sorting machine before it arrives at your local post office for delivery.
