P.O. Boxes
Apparently, eBay does not want to be bothered by questions from customers, so I'll ask the community.
I live in an apartment building that has locked security doors. Any packages delivered to me get left outside and tend to get stolen; this is why I have a safe and secure post office box. Unfortunately, a lot of sellers refuse to ship to a P.O. Box. I've read the reasons why certain sellers don't like to ship to a PO Box (carrier restrictions, potential delays and costs, etc.) but at this point, I think it's just plain, unfounded paranoia. At the risk of repeating myself, I absolutely have to use a post office box or my packages will get stolen. Here are the questions I have:
1. Do sellers realize how much business they're missing out on by not letting people receive their packages at the post office?
2. Can eBay make it so that searches can filter out sellers who will not ship to Post Office boxes? (Currently, it's a real pain to order something when I have to click through all of the screens trying to find someone who will accept a post office box delivery.)

Mentor1 year ago@hadji827 I agree that many sellers do not understand that shipping to PO Boxes is safe.
The only reason a seller should block PO Boxes is if they are shipping with UPS, Fed Ex, Or are selling items that qualify for the eBay Authenticity Guarantee as those items are delivered by Fed Ex. Authenticity Guaranteed Items can still be purchased by buyers with PO Boxes but the items will not be Authenticated, they get shipped directly to the buyer.
It would be great if eBay had a filter that let you select PO Boxes, I am afraid that it would require so much programing changes that it might break something. 😞
