Please help with a guest return

I purchased and received an Item on eBay as a guest and would like to return it. The seller is fine with the returns, but eBay can't find my information to proceed with the return . I get a red notification that says it can't find my information even though I have order number and Item numbers. What can I do?

Guest purchases are totally separate from any purchase on your account. So you need to find the confirmation email from eBay for that item. The email will have special log in instructions so you will be able to open the return officially.
