Playboy magazine
I attempted to place a single Playboy magazine for sale, I got the "It appears you’re listing an item that can’t be sold on eBay. For more details, see our Protecting minors policy.{e274975-1282563x}" message.
I see hundreds of Playboys up for sale, why am I being restricted?
It's a January 1969 issue. I looked at another identical issue up for sale, saw the "Have one to sell?" and I clicked on the 'Sell now' button.

Mentor1 year agoYou cannot always count on the "Have one to sell" to mean you can list the item. The listing may not have been caught by the bots but they may catch your listing.
There are some Playboy issues that have concerns that some of the photos are of underage girls. So that issue cannot be listed and will be removed if the bots catch the listing or it is reported to eBay.

OP1 year agoI just did an Ebay search, "Playboy January 1969". I counted 28 different listings for that issue just on the first page.

IF the issue is banned … then the fact that there may be other listings for the same issue is irrelevant.
[It’s similar to being caught for speeding and defending yourself by saying that others were driving as fast as you.]
NEVER relist an item that’s been pulled. A bot will find it quickly next time … and you risk receiving successively higher restrictions until you’re permanently restricted. List it somewhere else.
