Photo/AI Listing Feature No Longer Available
Summary: milehighjosh is experiencing an issue with the eBay app's listing feature. Previously, they could upload photos of trading cards, and eBay would automatically generate the listing details. Now, they must manually enter information as the photo-based AI listing feature is no longer available. They are seeking help to determine if the feature has been removed or if there's a setting to restore it, emphasizing its importance for selling multiple cards.
Hi, I’m having an issue with the eBay app when creating listings. Until recently, when I selected “List an item,” I was able to take or upload a few photos of a trading card and eBay would automatically identify the card and create most of the listing details for me.
Now when I select “List an item,” I’m taken directly to the “Tell us what you’re selling” screen and have to search for and enter the item information manually. The option to start by uploading photos and have eBay create the listing from them is no longer appearing.
I have a lot of cards to sell, so this feature was extremely useful. Has this feature been removed from my account, is there a usage limit, or is there a setting I need to change to get the photo-based AI listing feature back?
Thank you for your help.

Mentor4 days agoThis feature was designed to help new sellers to make listing. eBay will remove this option after they determine you are no longer considered tro be a new seller. Once gone I do not believe you can get this back.
