Is this a login verification issue, or one related to listing items for sale?
If t is a login issue, usually verification info can be sent to either your phone # or the email you registered with ebay.

If you were trying to change the phone number using the App, you usually have to login the classic way using your username and password before you can make a change to your contact or other information.
