Personally delivered the item

Question

I personally delivered the item, uribe insist that I listed as shipping. So it’s been two days, and the buyer claims that they marked it as received, but I have not seen any update on my end. What should I do about that? Because I can’t get a hold of anyone at eBay, because I don’t think anyone actually works there.

@docmeags . You should have canceled the sale and relisted as local pickup only so that the buyer would have a pickup up code to prove delivery. Since this is such a high priced sale here's my advice so you have the required tracking to prove delivery to get your funds released. Your funds will be held about 31 days with the proof of delivery. Ship a small "thank you " Item to the buyer. You will need to have a signature on delivery as it's required for all sales over $750. Just go to the sold item and select get shipping label. Adjust the package size and weight. Select ground advantage as the shipping method. Since you are a new seller it's especially important to have the tracking proof of delivery on such a large sale.

If the item was supposed to be shipped then eBay looks for tracking to prove delivery. Without tracking proving delivery you will need to wait 30 days before eBay will make the payout. When items are listed for local pick up then the buyer receives a QR code and a numeric code to give to you to prove delivery. They only receive this when they purchased with local pick up.

@docmeags Buyers cannot mark an item received. All you can do is mark it as shipped.
