Persistent Page Refresh/Freeze on Description Section – Single Listing Only
Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone has encountered this specific "loop" and found a workaround. I am stuck on a single listing where I cannot revise or add anything to the Description section. Every time I try to edit the description or save a revision, the page simply refreshes, stays blank or refuses to accept the input.
What I’ve already tried (with no luck):
Device Hopping: Tried on both my laptop (web) and my phone (App and mobile browser).
Browser Troubleshooting: Cleared cache/cookies and tried two different browsers.
The "Start Over" Method: I’ve tried creating an entirely new listing from scratch for this item, but the same thing happens.
Text Formatting: Tried copying/pasting as plain text to rule out HTML interference.
The strangest part is that I have successfully listed other items after this one started acting up, so it isn't a site-wide outage for my account. It seems isolated to this specific item/draft.
I’ve wasted hours on this one listing. Has anyone had this experience and/or found a "fix" for this type of localized glitch? Maybe there's a specific field or character that might be triggering a refresh loop?

OP5 months agoHi. Unfortunately, that didn't work. I tried using one of my own prior listings and another seller's listing for the same item too, but that didn't work either. Maybe I'll try changing the wording of my description? That was a brilliant suggestion though!

OP5 months agoHi. I was finally able to complete the listing. When I reached the description area, instead of using my own description, I clicked on eBay's "Use AI description" and it generated a short description. I was able to manually add a few additional details - not all of the details that I wanted, but definitely enough. 🙂
