Permanently Restricted Account after buyer scam, eBay owes me >$800.
I am owed $800 by eBay.
A buyer scammed me for an item, eBay sided with them and decided to permanently ban my account as it was a newer account despite not having any other flags. I sold 3 others of the same item; now eBay has taxed me for all of the transactions, taken money out of my bank account, all without paying me the money I am owed in the process.
Now I am being told I have to wait for my account to be reinstated to get paid out - but they refuse the appeal and supposedly the account will never be reinstated.
I am now out of the cash for the items purchased ($500). After selling 4x of this item for $300 plus $39.99 shipping, with proper delivery, I should have been paid out well over $1,000. Now, after the scam refund, after being charged $180 in fees, supposedly eBay is now saying I am only owed $332 rather than the >$800 I am still owed.
I have sent in an appeal, have all necessary information linked to my account. The item was delivered to the buyer and eBay still refuses to make this right.
I don’t know what to do anymore. I have been contacting often to try to get this issue resolved. Nothing works. This issue has been going on for the better part of a month.

To tackle your issue, I suggest to contact eBay's Customer Service via social media. They are very good.
Find how to send eBay a private message on https://Facebook.com/eBay or https://Twitter.com/AskeBay
If you don't have an account, you have to make one. Facebook is the easiest.
Add your full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.
PS: scam or not, you should have accept the return and provided a return label.
