Permanent Suspension of Account Message
I am retired and established an ebay acct many years ago. I have not purchased much on ebay and have never sold anything. In fact I forgot I even had an acct! A few days ago I saw 2 new fishing rods on ebay and decided to purchase them. They were inexpensive new rods and were $14 each. I ordered both so the total purchase was about $29. I ordered them from ebay online. I paid with my credit card and confirmed I was on the official ebay site. I even received an initial shipping notice yesterday. Today I received 2 emails from ebay. The first said my bid for the rods was suspended and the second said my ebay account was suspended! I logged into my ebay acct and verified that the message from ebay was in my official ebay messages and it was indicating my account was permanently suspended. The 2 fishing rods were placed back into my ebay shopping cart. I am not sure what to do? I don’t think I did anything wrong. Can you help me? Dave

Mentor2 years agoThe best thing to do is to contact eBay customer service since they have full access to your account information and ask them about the suspension. Do not try to open another account since that one will be suspended also.
