Opening a store doesn't remove selling limits and it's a monthly cost that you will have to pay so it might not be worth it for your bottom line.
A starter store is the least expensive at 7.95 on the monthly rate or 4.95 if sign up for one year subscription.
Have you tried sending offers to buyers on your buy it now listings that have watchers? Have you tried promoted listings standard? Make sure that you check sold listings for your items so you know that your prices are competitive.
