PayPal payment has changed
I use PayPal for eBay purchases. I have a personal payment that’s tied to my bank account and a credit card that is for work purchases. When purchasing it would always prompt me to sign into PayPal to complete the purchase. Now it’s just placing the order with no redirect to PayPal to complete the transaction. I don’t like that as I’m afraid it will make a personal purchase using my work CC or vice versa. Any help is appreciated.

Mentor2 years agoebay is currently requiring a payment method when an Offer is made, and now when a bid is placed, in order to decrease the number of unpaid transactions. If the Offer is accepted, or the bid ends up the winner, then the auto payment is processed. Until the item is paid for, someone else may purchase the item.
You won't know ahead of time if the auto payment is required, so I suggest you log into your Paypal account and select the appropriate default method of paying for your purchases BEFORE you make your bid/purchase/offer on ebay.
