Ebay has implemented the "Automatic payments" in order to reduce the number of non-paying buyers.
If the seller has their buyer requirements set to "Require buyers to provide a payment method before they place a bid/make an offer" your payment source you have on file will be charged automatically.
Thank you very much for answer, however I don't like this situation. I pay for item I buy always. I'll look if sellers have this requirements in future. I hope I can see it on their page. Thank you once again.
Ebay has implemented the automatic payment option to cut down on non-paying buyers, and Ebay uses the payment method the buyer chooses to automatically pay for their purchase.
There is no way to check to see if a seller has the buyer requirement in place to require buyers to provide a payment method before bidding/offering. It shouldn't be a problem for buyers that always pay for their items.
I like it, because I don't have to go through the payment process when I win an auction or a seller accepts my offer...the payment is done automatically. I just have to remember to choose my payment method before bidding or making an offer since I have 3 different payment methods on file with Ebay.
Thank you very much. Still I would like to decide by myself because sometimes I use PayPal balance and sometimes PayPal credit. I sell a lot and I don't see any problem if someone didn't pay, because after 4 days I can cancel the order in seconds. However, it is not your problem. I'm very grateful for your help.

OP11 months agoI'm sorry but I need your help again. Where and how I can check if seller has this "special requirement". Can I see it on their listing?
