PayPal automatic charge
I really dislike the new feature that charges your preferred card on PayPal immediately after purchasing instead of taking you to the PayPal app. I use different cards from time to time including making big purchases for my dad using his card so you can see how this would be a problem with the automatic charge when using PayPal as a method of payment. Anyway to turn that off or be taken to PayPal during the payment transaction?

Mentor2 years agoI noticed that lately when checking out on eBay using PayPal, I was no longer getting the option to choose a payment method through my PayPal wallet -- a default payment method was being chosen automatically. I was able to specify a different payment source in my PayPal account for future purchases under Manage Automatic Payments for eBay, but I lost the ability to pick the payment method on-the-fly when checking out.
I was able to get the option to choose payment through my PayPal wallet at eBay checkout back by deleting the PayPal entry from my eBay Payments page.
Now when checking out on eBay and choosing PayPal, I am sent to my PayPal wallet page where I can choose a payment method -- including the split payment or pay-in-4 options.

Mentor2 years agoThe option comes and goes for me. Deleting from your ebay wallet works, but you probably have to do that each time before purchasing, at least changing your PayPal primary card is pretty much fail safe.

Mentor2 years agoJust make sure to change the primary card on your PayPal account before you purchase using PayPal.
