Payout sent to closed bank account

Question

I have an old bank account that has been closed for a few years that is setup to be my payout bank. I donâ€™t sell much and caught it about three days after it was sent to the bank. Will this just fail and go back into eBay or does it need my input? The next problem I see is that I donâ€™t have records from this old bank and it looks like I need it to switch to my new bank. I might have paperwork (hopefully) but if not, calling the bank wonâ€™t be of any use due to me talking to them about a sim...

The payment will fail and be sent back to eBay automatically. You need to get your bank account updated so it can be paid out once it gets back. You will need to have your full bank account information for your old and new bank accounts so if you have records and can get it that is good. If not you will need to contact the customer service payments team to help.

There will be a floating " ? " symbol that will open a pop up that will get you to help and an agent. It is usually in the lower right corner on a desktop, not sure about the location on the app. If you can not locate it try logging in to your account using a browser page.
