Payout sent to a closed account

Question

How do I get the payment sent to a closed account? I moved to a new state and an item was sold while in the process of traveling and now that I am in my new house I cannot find the item that sold ! How do I refund my seller-I did not get the payout Do I use a charge card to refund her money and how do I get the money I refunded her ?

You should already have a backup credit card in your seller account to pay buyer refunds.

The refund is automatic when you Cancel the order

As for the Payout to a closed account, contact eBay CS about how to handle that - they will be able to see your account detail.

At the bottom Click on "Contact us"
In the Help Chatbox that opens, to bypass the bots, type AGENT then press the Send arrow
Keep typing "AGENT" to any bot questions.
