payout problems when selling
So I sold a low dollar item on ebay for the first time in a long time. I was paid properly however now that Ebay doesnt use paypal my funds are stuck. I tried to add a debit card but my account name and the name on my debit card are different so it wouldnt accept it. I tried adding a bank account and the system pulls the wrong account number from my bank therefore it gets denied. I tried contacting ebay several times but apparently real humans no linger work there because even calling gets only AI automation. Does anyone know how to get these funds either credited to my account so I can either spend them or find another way to have them distributed?

First, make sure the registered name on ebay matches exactly to the name on your checking account. You can make any changes here:
My ebay > Summary > Account > Personal information
Make sure you supply a physical street address. You can change to your P.O. box later.
If you want to change the checking account, go here:
Seller Hub > Payments > Payout settings> Payout method

OP4 months agoThank you for the reply, I have tried to change my Name on the account settings multiple times to add my middle initial and then my middle name which is what my debit card and my bank account have. Both times when I have gone back to update the bank account or the debit it still shows my name without the middle initial or name? Not sure why that wont update, but I think that is the problem?
