Payout on Hold for No Reason
Hi all,
i have been selling on ebay a little over a year. I am just a small seller bringing in less than $500 per week. When i first signed up i could not sell until i linked my checking (bank) account to my ebay account. I connected my account and i verified the account by two small deposits. Since then, i have received weekly payouts every week.
i sold an item 6 days ago. I mailed the item the item was delivered the next day. When i looked to see if the money was released it was not. When i had ebay call me they said my bank account had not been verified. I explained that it was. It had been verified a year ago. I verified it again. On a sunday i received a message from ebay saying my account was verified. I had a small amount in my account in monday and requested it as an instant payout. It deposited in my account. Tuesday is my weekly payouts day. The last 64 cents in my account was paid to my bank account. Today, wednesday, $700 is still on hold from last friday.
after 90 mins on the phone with ebay this morning the final answer i received was ebay sometimes does audits and that they are holding my $700 til May 27 (12 fays after it delivered) in case my buyer decides to file a dispute. Thats bull. My water bill is due friday. Not only wont i be able to it. Theres a $65 reconnect fee. This is wrong. What can i do.
