Payout on hold for no apparent reason.

Question

Has anyone else ever been subjected to this kind of idiot-ness?

My buyer paid for an item on the 19th and physically picked it up today, the 21st.

I scanned his QR code and off he went, happy camber was he.

I got home and discovered that my funds, all $42, were put on hold for 30 days!!

Even thought the buyer was satisfied and drove away with the item.

Has anyone else ever been subjected to this kind of infantile behavior from eBay?

Legally, I can go to small claims court, but is their any other way to ensure that eBay is not keeping my money just to make interest on it while I sit waiting for it?

New and infrequent sellers can have their payouts held for up to 30 days. The hold might be released sooner since it was a local pickup and you have scanned the QR code.
