Payout on Hold
eBay ended up restricting my account to indefinitely why I’ve over 1,800 in payouts on hold because I upload a **bleep** receipt will i still get my money or how can i sue

You sold three brand new high end Electronic items. I suspect eBay wants to confirm you actually purchased them, thus the request for the receipt. If you bought them as surplus inventory from a store that closed you should still have a receipt for the purchase.
Please follow the eBay instructions and provide the information they requested so your funds can be released to you.

OP2 years agoSir I sent them invoices for the kits which also has my name on the boxes which is the same as my government name on the ebay account it’s been a few years since I sold on this app and didn’t know so much has changed now I’m without my items and money this can’t be how’s it done it’s not fair but thanks

I don't know about Starlink but most cable companies state that it is illegal to sell their equipment for reuse.

OP2 years agoWow wasn’t aware of that but with Starlink it’s okay as long as the service gets transferred to the new accounts holders that wants a plan with them

If the cable equipment was registered to the original buyer, it cannot be resold.

If Ebay is requiring information from you in order to release you payouts, you will need to comply.
Per Ebay: Compliance holds: eBay maintains policies and procedures to protect buyers and sellers while complying with applicable laws . If your account has a payout hold or restriction for compliance reasons, we'll notify you by email and may request additional information from you.
You cannot sue Ebay for upholding seller rules.

But unfortunately my son aunt passed away who purchased his Gifts which was a meta quest pro and hockey skates and haven’t found a away to get receipt's for those items he’s in college and wanted extra money for the holiday now the items are gone I haven’t received the money and don’t know what to do feels so doomed
