Payout Method

Question

I'm trying to link my bank account to receive payments. I don't have any listings yet but I'd like to have everything set up before creating any listings. I cannot find anywhere to set up my payout account. I have saved a debit card for payments "checkout" and "offers and auctions", but these sound like ways for me to pay for items, not for me to receive payments. Am I reading this wrong or is there some other way to connect my bank account?

To enter your checking account for Ebay payouts,go to the Payments section in Seller Hub or My eBay, select "Add" under payout methods, and input your bank details.

You must use a checking account and the name must match your registered Ebay account name.
