Payout holds
Summary: cam-590779, a new eBay seller, expressed concerns about a 30-day hold on their second payout, affecting their ability to purchase inventory despite having successful deliveries and no negative feedback. golfingaddict advised that this is standard practice for new sellers, emphasizing the need for time to build experience and trust with eBay, as holds are typical until more feedback is accumulated.
I’m a newer seller on eBay and I’ve already received a payout of a couple thousand dollars successfully. However, on my second payout, eBay placed my funds under a 30-day hold/confirmation period. I have tracking uploaded on all of my orders, and the orders have been successfully delivered. I also haven’t received any buyer complaints, cases, or negative feedback. This 30-day hold is making it difficult for me to continue buying inventory and running my business. Is there anything I can do to speed up the payout or have the hold reviewed? Has anyone else experienced this after successfully receiving their first large payout?

Mentor1 week agoFor new sellers, eBay usually holds funds for up to 21 days after confirming a buyer’s payment before sending them to your bank.
After maintaining a 90-day sales history and meeting performance standards, you can qualify for instant payouts.

Mentor1 week agoI'm afraid that the only thing that is going to help you is time.
You need time to establish yourself and show eBay that you can manage your business.
They will not speed up the process. Since a buyer has 30 days to claim an issue with a transaction, they want to assure the money is there if there is a problem.
You only have 2 feedback which shows that you are relatively new to selling.
The payment holds apply to almost all new sellers.
