Payout Holds
Ebay's Policy to hold payouts for 30 days is unacceptable! My Buyer has received the item. Buyer has left Positive Feedback for Seller (Me). Buyer messaged Seller how pleased he is with the item and thanked the Seller for such a great deal. Item sold on Aug.2nd 2024 and Ebay is Holding Payout until Sept.2nd 2024. This is unacceptable!! I pulled my other Listings off Ebay and Listed them on Reverb.com. Reverb.com releases Payout usually the 2nd day after the item has been shipped. I'm not a Dealer or am trying to make a profit when I sell my items. I sell because I need the money!! 30day hold on Payouts is unacceptable!

When the Seller ships an item within the recommended time period and the Buyer received the Item and leaves Positive Feedback for Seller and Messages Seller on how happy he is with the item and thanks Seller for the opportunity to buy the item. Why does the Seller have to wait 30 days before his Payout is released?

Payments for pricey items are held 30 days for new or infrequent sellers, I assume because the buyer has 30 days to open a return request. He may say he is happy now, then find an issue. The money back guarantee gives the buyer 30 days to make sure the item is as described.

OP1 year agoUnacceptable. Other online sites do not hold funds for 30days. Because of this I have pulled my other Listings and now will only list musical instruments on Reverb.com who releases Payouts usually 2 days after the item is shipped. They also have a Support Team the actually helps people with issues, refunds and such. I posted this so others will become aware of this Payout Policy and possibly find another source of online sales.
