payout and shipping label
I thought the buyer paid for the shipping. Everything I sell, I have to pay for the shipping label, then my payout total shows MINUS the total of what it is sold for. Please explain how this works. Thank you!

The buyer pays you (through Ebay) for the shipping charges you indicated on the listing page.
YOU pay to ship the item to the buyer since you have physical possession of the item.
The money the buyer paid for the shipping charges will be released to you from Ebay as part of your payout from your sale.

OP1 year agoSo, does that mean that I should raise my sale price so I'm getting what I really want for my items? Or, am I still confused? I'm not getting what I asked for deposited into my bank account.

The payout eBay provides to sellers is the total amount the buyer paid, minus final value fees, which are a percentage of the sale price (including shipping and handling) and a per-order fee, and shipping label costs (if you chose not to pay for the label with Paypal or CC.)
To see a detailed breakdown of the fees associated with a sale, you can view the order details in the Orders tab of your Seller Hub. The "Payments" section within the order details will show what the buyer paid, what you earned after fees, and any other applicable costs,
