Payout amount

Question

Starting in October 2025, Ebay started taking tax on Total fees which results in less payout to sellers. No one at Ebay can explain why this is now happening. Has anyone else noticed this and does anyone have an answer? Thank you

This is your state, so it would be my guess that oversees customer service would not be up on this.

Is this what you're asking about? I copied the following from https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/reconciling-ebay-sales-transactions?id=4847 Your tax invoice is issued for services rendered and includes all applicable seller fees and other costs. The summary is in PDF format. The detailed view is in CSV format, which you can open with spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, and allows you to customize the information in the document. At the start of each month you'll receive an email to let you know your tax invoice is available to download. Your tax invoice shows you the applicable taxes on fees and other costs already deducted from your Available, Processing, and On hold funds. If you sell on multiple eBay sites, you'll see the fees and taxes grouped by currency. That short paragraph isn't all that's on the Help page. @dkay070 The tax is something that your state is charging. It started in October. Texas to Tax Marketplace Seller Fees (Effective Oct 2025) eBay collects it and it is sent to your state.
