I have shipped two items together, I added the same tracking # to both items. One item has been authenticated before the other and says it’s being shipped out? While the other says “shipped to authenticator†I’m just wondering if it will ever be authenticated?
or should I start the refund process?

When shipping to the authenticator, each item must be shipped separately. There is no combined shipping.
I would consider the second item lost and prepare to refund.
Communication with your buyer is crucial.

eBay Authentication requires SEPARATE shipments not combined.
No telling how they handle that. Don't start refunding yet, there has been no claim and some of that is handled by the Authentication process anyway. The Help page does not cover that scenario: Selling with Authenticity Guarantee | eBay
