Payments gone wrong

LawrenceJohn seller, had an item for sale. I bid on it, to my surprise, I won. This particular seller demanded payment, which I don't know I have won yet, an when I write them to let them know I intend to pay, he goes an cancels the sale. I starting to see why eBay is dying. I can't get anyone to resolve the issues so buyers get screwed! I didn't even get 4 days, seller waited until the exact moment he could cancel, an did, knowing I wanted to pay.

Possibly he wondered that, if you were in the position to message him, why didn't you just submit payment instead. Starting a conversation, instead of paying, is a classic opening of an attempt to scam a seller. Maybe the seller had been bit in the you-know-where before and was still smarting from it.
