Payment removed
I sold an item, the funds were in the total funds and then they were taken out. They were not deposited. Why would they disappear? The item was delivered, I don't see that they were being returned but the payment is not listed to be paid

That sounds frustrating.
Your "available funds" are a running total, so there may be other fees from other listings and sales intermingled. Each payout can cover multiple transactions such as shipping for other items.

From your gross sales (Price + Shipping, if any + Sales Tax) eBay will deduct
Sales Tax (remitted to the state)
Shipping labels
Final Value Fees FVF
Insertion fees (if any)
Promoted listing fees (if any)
Store Fees (if any)
etc.
