payment receipts/invoices
I added two items from different sellers to my cart and checked out with one payment. Though the order details for each item shows the combined payment, my card was charged for each item separately. Is there a way to get receipts/invoices for each charge? If not, why? Yes, I know... next time I will purchase them separately.

Click the View order details button next to each transaction in your Purchase History. You can print that page as your receipt.
You won't have a combined receipt because you are paying two individual sellers.

OP2 years agoThank you for the response. Order details from each item shows the same thing... both items (two different sellers) as purchased together. The item amounts and taxes are combined. If possible, I would like a separate receipt/invoice for each item to match the separate charges on my card.

Yes, just print each order details page for your receipt as advised in my first response.

OP2 years agoIf that was an option for me, I would not have started this thread. Unfortunately, the automated verification system my company uses requires the amount on the receipt/invoice to exactly match the charge.

I'm sorry. Your first post said you wanted a receipt for each charge. The instruction I provided is how you do that. The order details page cannot not show purchases from multiple sellers (each sellers ships separately through whatever carrier & class of service they use, and probably on different days). Each seller receives an order for only the items he sold, even if you paid two sellers at the same time.
I must be missing what it is you want to accomplish.

OP2 years agoHere is an example of what I am seeing and what I require... say I bought a baseball from seller A for $5 and a bat from seller B for $20. Because these were both added to my cart and purchased together, when I look at the order details for either, it shows $5 + $20 + $1.50 (6% tax) + free shipping = $26.50 total. However, my credit card statement shows two seperate charges: $5 plus tax for one and $20 plus tax for the other.
I submit my receipts by attaching a picture of the receipt for each charge. The amount on that photo must exactly match the amount for the charge.
I have two separate charges and I require two separate receipts/invoices that match the charges.
If ebay can charge my credit card two different charges, why can't they provide the receipts for each of those charges (separately, not combined)?

OK...I haven't paid multiple sellers in one payment for such a long time (I typically pay for each seller separately), and I couldn't find any examples in my Purchase History to take a look.
It that's what you're seeing, then I guess there is no way for you to do it. Why not attach the receipt to each of the credit card charges and circle the corresponding item?
