Payment options
My account is set up so that when I make an offer and it's accepted, I am charged automatically. I want to turn that off so that I can use gift cards.

Mentor2 years ago@tracgodse_0 You can not turn off the auto payment option. This is a setting in the sellers account settings that eBay has turned on. Many sellers don't know that it's turned on and may turn it off if you ask BEFORE making an offer or bidding.
You should be able to change your payment method before making the offer. There is a an EDIT option next to current payment method.
