Payment on hold
I sold an item last week and the buyer submitted payment, but its been on hold since then. How long does it take for the payment to get released?

Mentor8 months agoI see that the item you sold has to go through the authentication process. Until the authenticators say the item is authentic eBay will not even begin the payout process. As mentioned, new sellers will have funds holds up to 30 days until they have built a reputation with eBay.

Mentor8 months agoNew and infrequent sellers can have their payouts held for up to 30 days. That is just in case the buyer has a problem and files a case. ebay wants to make sure the money is available for a refund.
