Payment on Hold
I recently sold an item and the buyer asked that I change the address. I did not know how to do this within ebay, so instead I went through a different website in order to send it to the address. I had already created the shipping label for the incorrect address and now ebay is holding onto the funds for that item even though the buyer has received it. Is there a way for me to fix this problem? I cannot seem to find any way to contact someone who is a part of ebay.

You were required to ship to the address that Ebay provided. Your funds will be withheld because there is no proof of delivery to the buyer's Ebay shipping address. Ebay may release your funds after 30 days.
If the buyer files a Refund Request due to item not received, they will win because you cannot prove delivery.

OP1 year agoThank you, so there is no way that I can contact Ebay and show them the documents of the address sent to with the tracking number?
