Payment on hold

Question

I dont know if this gets to ebay or not. As a seller. What sense does it make to still keep a payment on hold after i already have gotten postive feedback? I kept getting told if i would of bought a label from ebay they would release the money sooner. So if i scratch ebays back they scratch mine if i dont then i must wait the 14 days even though there reason is to make sure the buyer gets the item and is happy with it. Which i have already established they got it and are happy hense the positive feedback.

Positive feedback does not always signal the transaction is over (trust me on this). And sometimes feedback is left in error, which is easy to do with the new feedback form.

eBay will hold the funds of new or infrequent sellers and sometimes on high-dollar transactions.

The 30-day hold runs concurrent with eBayâ€™s 30-day Money Back Guarantee (MBG) for buyers.

If there are no issues with the transaction after those 30 days, then the funds are released.

If there is an issue, the held funds are used to make any necessary refunds to the buyer.
