Payment on hold

Question

I sold an item, shipped it, buyer received the item and gave me positive feedback.

Ebay has my payment on hold until Feb 28th.

I tried calling and all I get is an automated response.

I would like to be paid now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply.

It's an unfortunate practice that will cause me to not use ebay ever again as their competitors don't have the same practice and pay immediately once the item is received and positive feedback is received.

Your payouts are on a hold.

According to Ebay:

New or infrequent sellers will experience transaction holds while learning best selling practices. This helps sellers become established and build a strong selling history on eBay. New sellers typically experience holds for up to 30 days, although sometimes it may be longer
