You sell items using ebay's auction format but have you checked your Buyer requirements page lately? If not open it and under the 4 usual requirements you will see Buyer Rules, there are two that probably checked screen shot below;
That means all of your bidders will have to pay within an hour of winning one of your auctions, even if they want to bid on more ending the same or other days. By unchecking that box, it will allow bidders to win items purchased over several days and pay once for them. If you were not aware of this you are not alone, Even though ebay instituted the policy a few years ago, many sellers still do not know about it.
You can adjust your unpaid item time frame, from 4 to 7 days, by doing a Google search for:
Can I adjust my unpaid item policy from 4 days to 7, ebay
Sellers were complaining that bidders were winning auctions and then not paying, so eBay began allowing sellers to require a payment method in advance to bid on that seller's auctions. That way when the auction ended, the payment was made immediately.
Then buyers complained that they were not able to combine auction wins at checkout to make a single combined payment even if the auctions ended within a few minutes, so eBay allowed buyers up to an hour from the end of an auction to combine auction wins at checkout and to choose a different payment method before the original payment method was used automatically.
