Payment issue...I owe the seller money.
I purchased an item from a seller. The price was accidentally listed too low. After I'd confirmed my purchase, I contacted the seller to inquire as to why the price was so low. He contacted me later the next day , and notified me that the price was, indeed, listed in error, and had already been processed, and shipped. Since the error was not mine, but in the interest of fairness, I agreed to pay an additional $40.00 U.S. . Apparently, there's some sort of issue with our communications, I asked him/her to please send me an invoice. I was referred to a different site, (one I've never seen before, and there was nothing at that site that could help me
resolve this issue. I tried contacting eBay, directly, through their automated assistand, and got nowhere with that. I , currently have a "perfect record" as a buyer, and I'd like to keep it that way. How can I get eBay to help me rectify thus situation? Thanks in advance.

You will always have a perfect record as a buyer.
The only way to a bad record as a buyer to to not pay for items that you buy!

Mentor1 year ago@rebeldawwwg40joel There is no way within eBay for a seller to send bill you more than the listing price as sellers can not charge more than the listed amount.
If you really want to send the seller $40, which you don't have to, the easiest way is to snail mail a check to their return address that was on the label.
Otherwise you have to share contact info so they can send you a paypal invoice. You are allowed to share contact info after a recent sale.
Whatever you decide to do is totally YOUR choice. If you do decide to try and pay the extra $40 then wait until AFTER you receive the item to make sure that it is as described. Not paying the extra $40 will NOT hurt your account as it's the sellers responsibility to make sure that their listing is accurate.
