Payment info to make an offer
Why am I required to provide payment info to make an offer. I won’t provide payment info until I get an invoice. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

Mentor2 years agoThere is a real problem with buyers making offers and then not paying. This causes hassles for sellers, as they cannot cancel the transaction for 4 days. In that time, the item could have sold to someone who would pay. This is a solution by eBay to help out sellers who have to deal with non-payers frequently.
If your seller accepts, you will be charged. If your seller declines, you will not be charged. There is really no need for an invoice. I have never sent one.
