Payment holds?
$3500 item. The buyer received it, left positive feedback, yet ebay says they're going to hold my money for a month. Seems criminal and a way for ebay to skim interest on holding customers money. How do I get my money?

Yes, eBay does hold new seller's payments for 30 days to make sure the buyer receives their item and does not open a refund request. They also hold payments for high dollar amount sales. You agreed to holds when you created your account and accepted the eBay user agreement.

You will need to wait for the hold to be lifted.

OP2 years agoI have been a seller for years and I have sold items higher priced than this with zero complaints and never had a hold before. The buyer is happy, I should be able to get my money. Im done with Ebay!
