Payment for Return Shipping
Recently purchased item from company in india. In seller's description they provided the wrong description with the same OEM part number that I need. I have spoken several times with seller, it seems they are playing games. I made the trip to UPS to return the part and the return fees cost more than the part itself. I have also contacted the equipment manufacture and purchased the correct part (same OEM number) which this part fit correctly (also from India). Basically the part the first company sent me was too large, the second part I purchased from the manufacturer fit perfectly. I have requested a return and been approved but the company is dragging out agreeing to send return shipping or my refund. I have tried to get eBay involved but the places I have been told to click on do not have the same options that eBay says I need to select. How do I get in touch with eBay to explain all of this?

Mentor2 years agoThe easiest way is to go to your Purchase history, locate the item. Click on RETURN THIS ITEM because it is Not as Described. You will need to click on MORE to see that option. The seller will need to provide a prepaid shipping label for its return. You print out the label, affix it to the box, and have the counter clerk scan the label. When tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, the seller needs to refund you within 2 days. If no refund, go back to the case and click Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.
If the seller is from another country, s/he will have to send enough funds to cover return shipping, because the seller cannot provide a shipping label good in this country, or refund in full without having you return the item. If the seller does neither, click on the link to Ask ebay to step in, when it shows up in the case.
