Payment for an item did not use my PayPal balance even though I have PayPal set to use my balance?
I have set my eBay payment preference to PayPal and I have also set my PayPal payment preference to use any PayPal balance first with any remaining cost to be paid with my credit card. Despite all of this eBay/PayPal continues to charge my credit card for the full amount of the item and does not use any of my PayPal balance (which is more than the cost of the item). Why is this happening, am I missing a setting or a rule somewhere?

Mentor1 year agoYou likely need to look at your PayPal account. Ebay just goes by what payment source you have entered on this site when you are purchasing something. So if it is not processing like you want it to, it must be your payment source that is the issue. Ebay has not control over that.
