Payment for an accepted offer

Question

I have a buyer who wants to make an offer on my item but does not want the money to come first out of his checking account. I want the money to come first out of his PayPal account and go into my PayPal account. How do I help him with this? Thanks -

You cannot specify how a buyer pays and his payment will not go to your PayPal account. It will be processed by eBay Managed Payments and sent to your checking account.

Turning off the auto-pay setting will not change that.

With auto-pay, the buyer can specify his payment method when he makes the offer. The information will be used only if the offer is accepted - the payment doesn't come out beforehand.

You have to turn Auto-pay OFF on this page in your account, that will allow the Buyer to select their payment method AFTER Offers are tendered: Buyer Management | eBay

The settings are at the bottom of the page.
